Everyone wants a free boat…

To help friends out I took over their 1969 Soling and towed it to Newport from Hilton Head where it had not been hauled out for years.

It required a classic marine ‘Fairing’ job. Grinding, plastering and long board, hand sanding the outside of the hull until it is faultlessly without flat spots and bumps. We painted everything and rerigged every line and stay on the boat, changed all the blocks , created better control systems and finally drew up some fine graphics to complement her Norwegian roots.
