Given a fire damaged antique table top and commissioned to redesign it for a new space with a new base , we created a knock down table that pulls together the old fashioned way. Narrowing the table and adding the cut offs to the ends to create a breadboard end , tenoned and drawpinned into place. The restored table surface hand scraped and sanded to remove the worst scars then rubbed with rottenstone shows the beautiful mottle of age and handwork.
